For the second year in a row, Baxter's Corner will lead the Young Storytellers Camp at Cabbage Patch Settlement House June 22 - 26.
With the guidance of artist Mary Ellen Stottmann and author Linda Baker, the campers will explore the history of storytelling and the elements of a good story, including plot and character development, scene details, word choice and editing.
The campers will collaborate to write a story that will become the second in the new youth-authored series Baxter's Corner has developed for Cabbage Patch. The series will feature books written by Cabbage Patch youth that will be professionally designed and printed for sale to raise funds for youth services at the Patch.
