Baxter's Corner met with educators from the state as an exhibitor at the annual Kentucky Council of Teachers of English and Language Arts conference held in Covington, Ky, February 22-23, 2013.
More than 200 English teachers from across the state, representing all levels -- kindergarten through graduate school -- gathered for sessions highlighting creativity and innovation in teaching and learning.
"It was a great opportunity to meet with teachers, particularly those of kindergarten and elementary students," said Linda Baker, co-founder of Baxter's Corner. "Through the conference sessions we learned about the challenges educators face and the opportunities for innovation in the classroom."
"We will use this information as we continue to develop stories and our signature Beyond the Book content for early readers."
